She is kinda cute. .. I meant the reporter not kindle
Does it do different languages? I mean languages that have a completely different writing system from English.
That’s what I hope they have, too. That would be fabulous if I could read it on kindle 2 in multiple languages.
OMG worst spokesperson D: Not the girl lol
“I am excited to present to you the Kindle 2″
lol. Yeah right. Could this guy be more bored and apathetic? LOL
ZOMG 16 SHADES OF GREY
My computer’s monitor is 1680×1050, each pixel has 255 shades of red, green, and blue, which makes for a total of 16777216 (or 16.7 million) colors. And it costs $150. that would leave $200 for all of the other components, which have about the processing power of my $50 phone. The free phone service is a waste! Just use someone’s internet. How many people make a spur-of-the-moment decision to buy a book where there’s no internet? Get the book beforehand.
I see your computer also comes with a built in calculator ZOMG
yes, and saying lots of numbers makes me sound smart ZOMG
there are laptops cheaper than this thing…
my iphone can do the samething.
Yeah, but can they last for 2 weeks?
I mean sure theres the real good netbooks on the market, but still if your a real book/computer geek, you’d buy it for novelty reasons, not to read it
The Kindle would be more interesting if it wasn’t only available to less than 5% of the world’s population. In fact, the the other 95% of us, it’s totally irrelevant.
I guess all the market niches taken! I’ve just opened an online ebook store on my own, paying out of my own pocket. But I ain’t got corporate money to launch products like Kindle that would have my own name on it. Maan, that’s unfair. Hahaha!
It’s a very nice thing, though.
do you have to pay for the books?
overpriced
some of the books are free, but if you want newer books they range from about 8-10 dollars.
u read alot slower from a lcd screen reading from paper is alot faster believe it or not this seems more like reading from paper than the ipad i think thats the idea of it i dont think the ipad is meant to be an e-book
