how many bookmarks does the kindle or sony reader allow?

after reading the answers to my other questions so far, i know it can, but also ran across a discussion forum that said the kindle only allowed so many something like 60 bookmarks. is this per book, or total for the kindle? and does the sony have the same limitations? 60 or so bookmarks seems small, considering that i can hold more than 100 books on one electronic reader…

I only know about the Amazon Kindle. No, there is no limit on number of bookmarks you can set on the Kindle. You can download "Kindle User’s Guide (PDF)" here:
